God, in their assembly, to make known all their multitudes and their deeds, as impurity before him [...]
And now listen to me, all who enter the covenant, and I will uncover your ears concerning the ways of
the wicked [...] God loves knowledge; wisdom and understanding he has set before him
prudence and knowledge, they serve him [...] long-suffering is with him, and abundance of forgiveness
to atone for those who turn from transgression [...] and dominion and strength and fierce fury in blazing fire
by the hand of all the angels of destruction, against those who turn aside from the way and abhor the statute, leaving no remnant
and no survivor for them [...] for God did not choose them from ancient eternity, and before they were established he knew
their deeds [...] and he abhorred the generations of blood, and he hid his face from the land
from until their completion [...] and he knew the years of their standing, and the number and explanation of their periods, for all
those who exist forever, and that which is to be, until what will come in their periods, for all the years of eternity [...]
and among all of them he set apart for his own use those designated by name, so as to preserve a remainder upon the earth, and to fill
the face of the world with their seed [...] and he made them known by the hand of his anointed ones of his holy spirit, and seers of
truth; and by clear specification he named their names, and those whom he hated he led astray [...]
And now, sons, listen to me, and I will uncover your eyes to see and to understand the deeds of
God, and to choose what he desires, and to reject what he hates [...] to walk perfectly
in all his ways, and not to explore the thoughts of a guilty inclination and eyes of fornication, for many
have gone astray by them, and mighty men of valor have stumbled by them, from former times until now [...] in their walking in the stubbornness of
their heart. The Watchers of heaven fell; they were caught in it, because they did not keep the commandments of God [...]
and their sons, whose height was like the height of cedars, and whose bodies were like mountains, fell [...]
all flesh that was on dry land perished, and it was as if they had never existed, for they did
their own will and did not keep the commandments of their Maker, until his anger burned against them [...]
