and the heads of their divisions with their appointed men shall stand at their appointed times, at their months, and at the sabbaths, and at all the days of the year, from the age of fifty years and upward [...]
These shall stand over the burnt offerings and over the sacrifices, to arrange the incense of pleasing odor for the favor of God, to atone for all his congregation, and to remove the fat ashes before him continually
at the table of glory [...] All these they shall organize at the appointed time of the sabbatical year [...] and in the thirty-three remaining years of the war shall be the men of renown
the summoned of the assembly, and all the heads of the fathers of the congregation shall choose for themselves men of war for all the lands of the nations [...] from all the tribes of Israel they shall be levied
for themselves men of valor to go out to war according to the ordinances of the war, year by year [...] and in the sabbatical years they shall not be levied to go out to war, for it is a rest
of rest for Israel [...] In the thirty-five years of service the war shall be arrayed: six years, and all the congregation together shall arrange it [...]
And the war of the divisions shall be in the twenty-nine remaining years [...] In the first year they shall fight against Aram-naharaim [...] and in the second against the sons of Lud [...] in the third
