The complete audiobook — free, like everything here
Tip: the ⋮ three-dot menu on the player above also lets you download this part and change the playback speed.
Two ways, and they are good for different things. Either one costs us nothing, so use both if you like.
Useful on a phone, and for the long books — saving everything at once can be more than your browser will allow.
1 · Save to this device — keeps the audio inside your browser, so this player keeps working with no signal, with the read-along and your place intact. Nothing to manage. The catch: it lives in the browser's storage, so clearing site data removes it, and on iPhone, Safari may drop it after about a week of not visiting. Think of it as good for a trip rather than keeping forever. On Android it generally sticks.
2 · Download the files — every part is an ordinary MP3; the ⤓ beside each part saves it, or take the whole book chapter by chapter using the panel just below. These are real files in your downloads: they last until you delete them, and play in any audio app, on any device, in the car. You lose the read-along and the remembered position — it is just the audio. There is also a playlist file (.m3u) that plays them all in order in VLC and most audio apps.
Short version: save to the device for convenience, download the files to keep it.
The complete audiobook is offered one chapter at a time, not as a single giant file — that keeps every download quick and reliable on a phone, and free of size limits. Tap any chapter below to save it as an MP3; together they are the whole book. (Longer chapters are split into a few numbered parts.)
Your place is remembered on this device. Narrated by an AI voice from the Plainspoken translation; parts advance automatically.
